An information about the mains devider
This device devides the main supply voltage, that in Sweden is AC 230 V,
into a voltage between 0 volts and 260 volts. The mains devider consists
of a coil with a closed magnetic core. After the devider there is a trans-
former, which in unloaded state leaves 130 V and 260 V to the outputs.
The switches 115 volts and 230 volts (marked I and II)
A change-over from 115 V to 230 V. At first switch II. Next switch I.
A change-over from 230 V to 115 V. At first switch I. Next switch II.
If you're switching in another way, there will be a short-circuit.
But in that case there is a fuse of 0.8 A.
If the outputs of device are very loaded, you should remove the lid.
Technical specifications
The total maximum output power: 50 VA (always concerns 115 V output
and 230 V output)
At relatively low output voltages:
Terminal 0 - 115 V: maximum 1.6 amps
Terminal 0 - 230 V: maximum 0.8 amps
The lowest internal resistance: 25 ohms (115 volts)
The highest internal resistance: 110 ohms (230 volts)
